This has been a difficult week for all of us. The strife and conflict displayed so openly was not the result of what happened that day, but rather is the result of growing tension over several years. But as children of God we need to stand above all if this, and stand in the One whom we believe. Now more than ever in our workplaces, schools, homes and in our church we need to come together in a Spirit of love and kindness. We need to set aside anything that would offend or be hurtful. Today and every day we must encourage, humble ourselves and think of others first, because we are a family and a light for Jesus to everyone outside or inside the church.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. I love each of you and with you in Spirit today. May God keep us united in Christ and loving in all that we do.
